Eftihia has been providing private voice and piano lessons to youth and adults in Chicago and all along the North Shore since 1992. Drawing on her extensive performing experience and educational background, she encourages and challenges her students so that they can attain high levels of musicianship.
From 2002 through 2007, she held the position of Choral Director at Chicago International Charter School Northtown Academy and its predecessor, Good Counsel High School. As choral director, she was instrumental in the production of several musicals to rave reviews. In 2004, Eftihia accepted the position of Vocal Instructor and Choral Director for the Orpheus Hellenic Folklore Society, and she also became the Founder and Director of the Chicago Hellenic Choir. She also has several years of experience teaching music and the Greek language at private Greek schools throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
In 2006 Eftihia founded Odeion School of Music, a private music school in Skokie IL. As the Director of Odeion, Eftihia oversees the music education of hundreds of students, she designs and develops creative classes and programs, and she also teaches voice, piano, music theory, opera performance, and more. In conjunction with her work at Odeion, Eftihia is also an Adjunct Music Professor at Wilbur Wright College and Olive Harvey College, two of Chicago's City Colleges, where she teaches Music Theory, Applied Voice, and Music Appreciation courses, as well as McHenry County College where she is the Choral Director and teaches Applied Voice.

Eftihia works with beginning and professional singers as well as actors and public speakers and guides them towards correct vocal technique and maintaining vocal health. Her extensive research and experience with vocal disorders and their prevention and correction has helped numerous singers throughout the USA and Europe.
